Cancer answer tour coming to Randolph County

Have you or a loved been diagnosed with cancer? Do you know where to turn for help? The American Cancer Society is here to help. Local representatives are taking our services on the road for another "Cancer Answer Tour". There are a variety of resources available to anyone (including caregivers) dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Some of these include: cancer information, personal support, transportation assistance, wigs, Personal Health Managers and much more.

Below are the Fall 2011 "Cancer Answer Tour" dates and locations for the local area:

Thursday, December 1st, Sparta, 10:00am - 12:00pm- Broadway Plaza, Suite 3 (in partnership with Sparta Community Hospital)

Monday, December 5th, Pinckneyville, 10:00am - 1:00pm - Pinckneyville Hospital (oncology department)

Anyone dealing with a cancer diagnosis is welcome to come to any of these locations. You do not have to be a patient of the treating doctor or facility.

All attendees will receive a confidential, personalized assessment based on their individual situation, along with a goody bag. Walk-ins are okay, but appointments are encouraged. For an appointment or more information please contact Penni with the American Cancer Society at 998-9898, option 3.
