Du Quoin Sits Down to the Same Table Thursday

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Several hundred Du Quoin-area residents are expected to sit down Thursday at the same table as the once-annual community Thanks-giving dinner is held in the commons at the Du Quoin Middle School.

Here are the reminders about the dinner.

The dinner is sponsored by a group called The Lord's Community Summer.

The location is Du Quoin Middle School commons area on East Jackson Street.

The date is November 24, 2011 with eating times at 10:30 and 12 noon.

The dinner is FREE to all.

Tickets can be picked up at Gold Plate, the Food Pantry, local churches or by contacting the Lord's Community Supper organization.

The tickets are used to estimate the quantity of food to prepare.

The purpose is to promote the name of Jesus Christ and have community fellowship during the nation's Thanksgiving observation.
