Eight members were present and ranged in age from first grade to junior in high school. Presently, there are 21 Junior members in the Chester Unit. Many of the girls have been members since they were very young, and many were signed up by their Mothers or Grandmothers who were members of the Unit. Junior members can participate in State and National activities specifically for them and can compete for many scholarship awards for Junior members only.
Pizza, salad, and dessert was served by hostesses Carolyn Schwent, Mary Sulser, Laura Brockmeyer, and Cheryl Saak Following the luncheon, a short business meeting was conducted and games were played. This joint meeting was a first for the Chester Unit but it was an enjoyable evening and will most likely be repeated annually.
