VOLLEYBALL: Lady Panthers fail to finish strong
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Pinckneyville took the first set of their volleyball match with Red Bud 25-19 on Monday night, but couldn't prevent the Lady Musketeers from coming back and grabbing the next two sets 25-11 and 25-21.
Shannon Nehrkorn led the Lady Panthers with 7 kills, Danielle Bruns and Lindsey Winter each added 4 apiece. Evelyn Epplin had a team-high 7 digs, Alexis Bigham and Lindsay Winter both added 6. Haley Simpson led blocks with 3.
PCHS had a great night at the service line, with Winter (10-for-10), Bigham (10-10), and Morgan Wild (11-11) each hitting ten or more serves without a miss.
Pinckneyville travels to Sparta on Tuesday night for a Southern Illinois River-to-River Conference Mississippi Division game against the Lady Bulldogs.
