School board holds short meeting

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Board of Education of Chester Community Unit School District No. 139 met in the Chester School District Unit Office on September 22, 2011.

President Beers called the Budget Hearing to order at 7:00 p.m.

The Board approved the 2011-2012 Budget.

The Board adjourned the Budget Hearing at 7:17 p.m.

Following the Budget Hearing the Board held a special meeting.

The Board approved Troy Clendenin as High School Trap Shoot Volunteer.

The Board approved Brenda Coop as High School Drama Director.

The Board adjourned at 7:30 p.m.

The next Regular meeting of the Board of Education will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chester School District Unit Office; 1940 Swanwick Street; Chester, IL 62233.
