</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ The Yellow Jackets football squad's record fell to 1-3 on Friday when they lost at Christopher by a score of 21-7. Christopher's long drive to open the game resulted in a touchdown at the 6:36 mark of the first quarter. The Yellow Jackets tied the game with 3:10 left in the half on a nice drive capped by a two-yard pass from Jake Lochhead to Boyd Miles.

Both teams spent the third quarter trading turnovers and putting together short drives that didn't result in any points. But the Bearcats finally took over in the fourth, scoring at the 7:56 mark and adding an insurance touchdown with only 1:14 left.

Chester's defense couldn't do much to stop the running game of Christopher. They gained a total of 318 yards rushing, including 209 by Scott Marchetti.

Top rushers for Chester were Joel Clendenin with 70 yards and Stephen Roth with 45. Lochhead completed three passes in eight attempts and threw one interception. He finished with 40 yards passing, including one big play to Tyler Brockhouse that went for 35 yards. The Yellow Jackets also lost two fumbles in this contest.

Chester returns home for a game with defending Black Diamond Conference champion Johnston City at 7:00 Friday.
