Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the World Shooting & Recreational Complex sponsoring Hunters Wingshooting Clinics

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the World Shooting & Recreational Complex are sponsoring Hunters Wingshooting Clinics for shotgunners at the World Shooting & Recreational Complex near Sparta, Illinois. The clinics will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 & 2, 2011. There will be separate morning and afternoon sessions, of four hours each, on both days. The clinics are intended to improve the wingshooting skills of novice to advanced shotgunners. The clinics will be taught by IDNR/National Sporting Clays Association certified wingshooting instructors.

Instruction sessions will be from 8:00 A.M. to Noon, and 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. each day, with check-in one-half hour prior to the start of each session. Registration is required, prior to the clinic dates, by calling the Complex Office between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday - Friday, at 618-295-2700 option 1. The clinic is "hands-on" and includes shooting on a 10-12 station sporting clays style course designed to represent hunting situations. Cost for the clinic is $30 per shooter and shooters must supply their own shotgun, shells and eye & ear protection.
