</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[On a warm but pleasant August 7, 2011, the annual reunion was held at the large shelter house at the Ft. Kaskaskia Park. This large shelter house with its scenic view provided a comfortable setting and sitting location for the 100+ descendants of Constantine & Catherine Jany family

As has been the custom for the past 20+ years, the day began with the celebration of the Catholic Mass. Everyone deeply appreciates the efforts of FR. Ben Stern to make time in his busy schedule to make this possible.

The beautiful grass and scenic background have both been enjoyed by many of the 500+ descendants of Constantine & Catherine Jany family for 100+ years.

The Melvin & Rose Jany family provided the music and lead the singing.

Hopefully we will again gather at the same location on the first Sunday of August 2012.
