'Kids of Summer' section coming July 21; submit photos now
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Summer youth baseball, softball and swimming teams from Du Quoin, Pinckneyville, Tamaroa and Elkville are encouraged to submit team photos for the Du Quoin Evening Call's annual "Kids of Summer" section that will publish on July 21.
Travel and select teams that include local youth are also welcomed. Please include names for all players with submitted photographs.
Photos may be dropped off at the newspaper office at 9 N. Division Street in Du Quoin, or e-mailed to dqsports@frontier.com. E-mail is the preferred method of delivery.
The deadline to submit photos will be Monday, July 18 at 5:00 p.m. if you are dropping it off at the office, 10:00 p.m. that same day if you are e-mailing. This deadline is firm and necessary to meet our print times.
