SWIMMING: Dolphins pull away from Red Bud

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Dolphins claimed a 393-279 home win over Red Bud at last Thursday night&#39;s meet in Pinckneyville, winning nine consecutive relays early in the evening to build a large cushion over the visitors.

Savannah Cheek and Olivia Chapman led the way at the Jake Bender Municipal Swimming Pool, each taking home three individual event victories. Cheek won the girls 11-12 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly, and 100m Individual Medley; Chapman was first in the girls 13-14 50m butterfly, 100m breaststroke, and 100m IM.

Double winners for the Dolphins were Bradley Denny (boys 6&un 25m backstroke, 25m freestyle), Barrett Denny (boys 8&un 25m backstroke, 25m breaststroke), Gailen Hall (boys 13-14 100m backstroke, 100m IM), Deanne Brand (girls 15-18 100m backstroke, 100m IM), Roslyn Sronce (girls 8&un 25m butterfly, girls 9-10 100m IM), and Ashley McCurdy (girls 9-10 25m butterfly, 25m freestyle).

Royce Plumlee (boys 9-10 25m backstroke), Keely Epplin (girls 9-10 25m backstroke), Gavin Sronce (boys 9-10 25m breaststroke), Kyla Epplin (girls 9-10 25m breaststroke), Alizabeth Owings (girls 11-12 50m breaststroke), Zach Hall (boys 15-18 100m breaststroke), Emily Shanklin (girls 11-12 50m freestyle), Ian Henne (boys 13-14 100m freestyle), Ashley Maxey (girls 13-14 100m freestyle), Coleman Choate (boys 15-18 100m freestyle), Sarah Loos (girls 15-18 100m freestyle) also won individual events for Pinckneyville.
