</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[It's time once again for the annual Sparta Community Chorus Spring Cabaret. This year, the chorus is presenting the Broadway revue Show People.

Show people is a revue of Broadway songs which celebrates what it means to be a performer on stage! The cast will sing songs from more recent Broadway shows like Avenue Q, Wicked, Jersey Boys, and Curtains. Numbers from revival shows like South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Promises Promises, Les Miserables, Hair and La Cage aux Folles will also be included in the show. We will also spotlight the TV hit show Glee...which has been very successful at bringing Broadway songs back into American households.

Show People will be performed at the Sparta Community Playhouse within the Showtime Cinema Complex at 1351 Sparta Center Drive in Sparta.

As a benefit of your patronage, you will have the first chance to reserve tickets. Please note that we will only be performing one weekend, with opening night on a Thursday. Show dates are scheduled for:

June 16, 17, 18 at 7:30 p.m.

& June 19 at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $9 for opening night, $10 for all other performances, and will be available to the general public beginning Wednesday, June 8th.
