Illinois FBLA-PBL State Chair Darlene Shannon named to FBLA-PBL National Board of Directors
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Darlene Shannon has been named to the national Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) Board of Directors for a three-year term (2011-2014).
Ms. Shannon began her involvement in the association 41 years ago as a local FBLA chapter adviser at Steeleville High School. She served as a state adviser for 16 years and as the Illinois FBLA-PBL State Chair for the past 11 years. Prior to this national board position, Shannon served on the FBLA-PBL national board of directors once before (1995-1998).
"Darlene's many years of involvement with FBLA-PBL and her depth of knowledge will serve her especially well with this new appointment," said Jean M. Buckley, FBLA-PBL president and CEO. "We are delighted to have her back on the board."
