Jan Koch named Memorial Employee of the Quarter

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ At a reception in her honor on Friday, April 8, Jan Koch was named the most recent Employee of the Quarter at Memorial Hospital in Chester.

Koch is a Third Party Biller/Data Processor in the hospital's Business Office and has been employed at Memorial since May 1997.

In his presentation, Hospital Administrator Steve Hayes shared some of the comments made by Koch's peers who nominated her, stating, "Jan is always willing to help her co-workers. She always stops what she is doing to assist and never complains about it. She goes the extra mile to help patients with their billing questions and is always kind and caring. She is a great role model for other employees in the hospital."

Jan Koch and her husband, Michael, reside in Steeleville. They have two sons, Nathan, age 12 and Tommy, age 7. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, reading and helping with Cub Scout and Boy Scout activities.

In addition to a personal plaque and a cash gift, Koch will receive the parking space of her choice for the next three months. Her name has been added to a larger plaque in the hospital's front lobby.
