Residence surrendered to authorities
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Randolpoh County State's Attorney Office is announcing that due to the investigation of the City of Chester Police Department that the seizure of money and real estate has now been completed.
On August 26, 2010 acting on a tip by a private citizen, the Chester Police Department obtained a search warrant on a residence at 1615 High Street in Chester. Drugs, such a heroin and cocaine as well as drug paraphernalia were found.?Subsequently, this lead to the successful prosecution in which two defendants ended up going to the Department of Corrections. Also, the residence and $8,000 in cash were surrendered to the authorities. This cash money and any proceeds from the sale of the residence will be given to the Chester Police Department and Randolph County State's Attorney's Office to help fund future drug investigations.
