Du Quoin student picked for ILMEA Honor Band

DU QUOIN - A Du Quoin Middle School band student has been selected to participate in the Illinois Music Educators Association Honor Band. Grace Hill (flute) competed with hundreds of students from Southern Illinois and the Metro East area. She spent the last two months practicing for the audition.

Hill will spend Saturday, Nov. 17 at Belleville West High School rehearsing with other selected honor band students and perform a concert later that evening.
