More safe driving efforts at CHS

Students at Chester High School continue to strongly encourage both peers and members of the community of Chester to drive safely through efforts of the Operation Teen Safe Driving Program. The effort is coordinated by members of the Drug Free Youth and Life Jackets at CHS and covers a wide-range of safe driving tips. Shown here (right to left) Courtney Johnson, Sydney Haberberger, Allie Schmerbauch and Tawnee Keel hold yard signs purchased by the Drug Free Youth encouraging people to make good decisions when it comes to riding with a driver who has been drinking alcohol. The theme of this portion of the program is, "You Ride, You Decide….It's aMatter of Choice". Passengers have the choice to say no before getting into a car with someone who has been drinking alcohol. The students posted these reminders throughout the City of Chester and on school grounds prior to the holiday break at CHS to encourage smart decision-making during the holidays.
