Portable Pharmacy Solves Problem for One Business

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Du Quoin KabinetHouse USA owner Gorgi Naumovski is going above and beyond for one neighbor on Main Street this week.

Gorgi has essentially turned his storefront alongside Judy & Co.'s "Favorite Things" over to Brad Galli and Mike Downs of the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, who are setting up an emergency portable pharmacy at KabinetHouse while floorcovering is changed out at the pharmacy.

Like storefronts up and down Main Street, the pharmacy had old floor tile under the carpeting, which has to be dealt with anytime floorcovering is changed.

Because KabinetHouse is right across the street, Canadian-born Naumovski called Brad and Mike and told them, "Let me help."

With a temporary location so close, Brad called Medicine Shoppe and told them the situation. What's called an "emergency pharmacy" is being put in place as these lines are being written.

Galli said he hopes replacement of the floorcovering in the Medicine Shoppe building will be completed by early next week.

It is part of an extensive remodel under the city's downtown revitalization program.

He is a kitchen designer and installer who has built hundreds of kitchens in the Toronto area and is planning a grand opening reception at the KabinetHouse USA Main Street location early next year.
