FOOTBALL: SIRR All-Conference selections announced
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Selections have been announced for the 2010 Southern Illinois River-to-River Conference, Mississippi Division all-conference first and second teams and a total of twelve Du Quoin Indians and five Pinckneyville Panthers are included.
The Indians racked up 14 total selections with Brandon Williams and Chaz Bland receiving the nod on both offense and defense. Pinckneyville had 7 total selections as Keegan Kellerman and Neil Kellerman were named on both sides of the football for the Panthers.
Indians making the all-conference first team on offense were Seth Baxter (RB, Sr.), B. Williams (TE, Jr.), and Cory Campanella (OL, Sr.), with the first team defense including Du Quoin's Kenny Kabat (DE, Sr.), Bryce Hamburger (DT, Sr.), Jerel Holmes (LB, Sr.), Karson Hoffman (DB, Sr.) and Bland (at large, Sr.). Baxter and Hoffman's selections were unanimous amongst voters.
Pinckneyville's first-team representatives on offense were N. Kellerman (RB, Sr.), K. Kellerman (C, Jr.), and Adam Barczewski (WR, Sr.). N. Kellerman also made the first team on defense as a linebacker, as did K. Kellerman as a defensive tackle.
Second-team selections from Du Quoin were Aaron Smith (RB, Sr.), James Williams (WR, Sr.), Bland (P), B. Williams (DE), Storm Clarry (LB, Sr.) and Trent Bigham (DB, Sr.).
Joining them were Panthers Michael Huggins (OL, Sr.) and Taylor Beninati (DB, Sr.).
