Water Line Testing Is Underway

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Doug Pollex who is in charge of inspecting the work done by the contractor on the Tamaroa water project reported to the Village Board that the project is going well and there have been few problems.

Pollex said some of the lines inside the city limits failed a pressure test and are being repaired. Crews are chlorinating and testing lines now.

A valve where chlorine is inserted into the lines was tampered with- probably by kids- and the valves have been locked to prevent further tampering. A test had to be restarted.

In other business, the board:

asked Joe Burgess to check for leaks around the meter and water main of a water customer who had found a leak in their home.

heard that the drain pipe in the community center has been repaired.
