Keynote speaker, Kim Martin, RN, Director of Emergency Services, will discuss stroke symptoms, the Hospital's membership in the MidAmerica Stroke Network and patient's responsibility in an emergency situation. Symptoms of a stroke do not always have to end with paralysis of limbs or loss of motor coordination. If symptoms are recognized and appropriate action is taken in a timely manner, the chances for a successful outcome increase significantly.
Men and women are invited to attend this free event. Dinner will be provided and attendance prizes will be given away. RSVP is required for catering purposes; please call Meghan Simpson at 282-5486. Or register on-line at healthywomanonline.com.
