Pinckneyville Purchases Leaf Collection Machine
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Commissioner Sam Fulk was given authorization to purchase a leaf collector from Mark Williams Outdoor Equipment of Murphysboro for $3,124.
The city will collect leaves as they are able.
The council also approved the expenditure of up to $6,100 for cleaning, inspection and replacement of the necessary anodes in the ground storage tank at the water plant. It is a two-part process with Cady Inc. receiving up to $4,320 and Jones Hydroblast receiving up to $,1780.
In other business,the council:
heard from Commissioner Marty Beltz that Fager-McGee will repair the buildings at the Pinckneyville-Du Quoin Airport that are askew at their own expense. E.T. Simonds will also do some additional work.
accepted the resignation of James A. Wittenauer D.C. from the Pinckneyville Police Pension Board.
