Chester wins big again
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Chester Yellow Jackets celebrated Senior Night and their final home game of the regular season with a 60-21 win over Hamilton County on Friday.
Chester got on the board first with a long drive topped by a 2-yard run by Zach Lochhead at the 5:34 mark of the first quarter, but Hamilton County scored on their next possession to make it 7-7.
The Yellow Jackets then took over the game completely, outscoring the Foxes 35-6 in the second quarter. Scoring plays included three touchdown runs by Stephen Roth (from two yards, eight yards and eight yards), a 22-yard pass play from Lochhead to John Baughman and a very impressive 88-yard kickoff return by Baughman.
Chester tacked on 18 more points in the second half on a 1-yard run by Joel Clendenin, a 5-yard run on Blake Nanney and a 1-yard run by Zane Wallace. Chester's last three extra-point attempts failed. Hamilton County's only score of the second half came on a 22-yard pass with 4:17 left in the third and a successful two-point conversion.
Hamilton County was able to connect on a few long passes, but Chester's defense was able to shut down their rushing attack. The Foxes could only manage 53 yards on 15 carries while Chester racked up 412 yards rushing.
Rushing leaders for Chester were Roth with 108 yards, Clint Cole with 78, Baughman with 72 and Clendenin with 71.
Lochhead completed three passes in four attempts for 49 yards. Cole made two of the catches for 27 yards and Baughman had one catch for 22 yards.
Chester wraps up their regular season with a trip to Vienna on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:00.
