Accident Takes Life of Pinckneyville Woman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A Pinckneyville woman has died as the result of injuries sustained in an early morning accident outside of Pinckneyville at 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

Jean House, 79, was killed while apparently pulling away from a parking lot at the Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Although complete information is not yet available, the newspaper understands her car was struck in the side by a vehicle being driven by David Ferguson, a neighbor.

Ferguson was treated and released from Pinckneyville Community Hospital.

The accident is being investigated by the Perry County Sheriff's Department.
