4-H find out party for children ages 5-7

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Clover Kids 4-H Cloverbud Club is inviting children ages 5-7 and their families to come and learn more about 4-H Cloverbuds at a 4-H Find Out Party on Thursday, October 14 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Sparta Public Library. The library is located at 211 W. Broadway Street in Sparta. During the find out party, children will be participating in fun activities while the parents will have an opportunity to learn more about 4-H and ask questions they might have about the program with University of Illinois Extension staff. The 4-H Cloverbud program uses hands-on learning activities to help kids explore art, plants and animals, science, the environment, and much more. Youngsters engage in group activities that promote personal development, healthy lifestyles, and a sense of citizenship. Cloverbud members attend fun-filled meetings that include learning activities, story time, recreation, and snack time. Trained and screened 4-H Cloverbud volunteers lead the meetings. The Clover Kids 4-H Cloverbud Club is part of the Randolph County 4-H program which is coordinated in the county through the University of Illinois Extension Office. The office is located at 313 W. Belmont Street in Sparta. Children must be between the ages of 5-7 on or before September 1, 2010 to be eligible to join 4-H as a Cloverbud during the 2010-11 4-H year. The Clover Kids meet regularly on the second Thursday of each month from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Sparta Public Library.
