Warriors drop two

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Steeleville&#39;s varsity volleyball squad lost two matches in conference play last week. Marissa-Coulterville topped Steeleville by scores of 26-24, 25-18. Alex Gale was the leading hitter with five kills. Brooke Rees and Sara Potter each had three blocks. Rees was also the leader in digs with six while Taylor Grafton had four assists. Potter was the leading server with nine points, Rees had six and Brooke Cates added five.

In their match against Valmeyer Steeleville lost by scores of 25-22, 26-24. Rees had a good night for the Warriors with 10 kills and three blocks. Cates led in digs with seven while Gale had six and Rees had five. Gale was the leading server with six points and Woods added five points.

While Coach Renee Rheinecker sees the potential in her team, things aren&#39;t coming together like she had hoped.

"We are in a slump and falling short of wins by just a few points" said Rheinecker. "We just can&#39;t seem to find any consistency because we keep having to change the lineup due to injuries and other circumstances."
