BASEBALL: St. Bruno-Tamaroa in State semifinals

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ St. Bruno-Tamaroa&#39;s hot bats remained at a scorching temperature on Saturday afternoon as the Falcons outslugged Carrier Mills 12-6 in Coulterville to advance to the semifinals of the Class S State Baseball Tournament.

Designated hitter Tyler Iubelt was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, driving in three key runs and scoring another for the Falcons.

Nolan Luke was also 4-for-4, running his stat line for the last three games to 13-for-14 with 8 RBI. Luke drove in a run and scored three times on Saturday.

Cole Bigham picked up the win on the pitching mound and added a pair of RBI at the plate with his 2-for-4 effort.

Also pitching in for SB-T were Nolan Bruns (3-5, 2 R, 3B), Robbie Borchelt (3-5, 3 RBI), Andy Opp (2-5), Brock Bullar (1-4), Tyler Rulevish (2-5, R), and Adam Banach (1-5, 2 RBI, 2B).

The Falcons advanced into Wednesday&#39;s semifinal against Aviston at 3:00 p.m. in Coulterville, and will play for either the championship or third place on Saturday, depending on the outcome.

SB-T has scored twelve or more runs in each of their three postseason games after finishing the regular season undefeated.
