The EJHS Lady Falcons got ahead early, and played fine defense behind their pitcher to claim a 6-1 victory at Pinckneyville District #204 field, and advance further into the postseason.
Delaney Bandy scored the only run for St. Bruno-Tamaroa in the losing effort, Jordyn Bullar pitched all seven innings.
Also in the lineup for the SB-T Lady Falcons were Dalis Hubler, Kaylee Rulevish, Afton Robinson, Taylor Geary, Mayci Doerflein, Callie Bigham, Chelsey Moss, and flex player Emma Banach.
St. Bruno-Tamaroa was coming off of an exciting 4-2 win over St. Johns in the previous round in what their coach Jeff Harris called "the best game we played this year," but the SB-T Lady Falcons struggled to re-create their success at the plate on Saturday afternoon.
