Steeleville School Board meets
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ A few personnel decisions were the highlight of last week's brief Steeleville Board of Education meeting. Motions were made to hire Jennifer Troue as kindergarten teacher, Gabrielle Fortner as fourth grade aide and Dan Harriss as assistant boys grade school basketball coach.
In other action the budget for the 2010-2011 school year was approved.
The board also voted to pay the difference in health insurance costs for this year only for non-certified employees and administration. Any increases in health insurance costs for teachers was already covered in the last contract negotiations.
