BASEBALL: St. Bruno-Tamaroa advances with shutout win

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ St. Bruno-Tamaroa baseball just keeps on winning, and did so Thursday in impressive fashion. The Falcons stormed into the regional finals with a 14-0 win over Evansville behind a 10-strikeout shutout by Nolan Luke, who was also 5-for-5 at the plate, scoring 5 runs and driving in 4.

SB-T moves on to play St. John-Chester on Monday at 4:00 p.m. for the championship at Rigdon Field in the Pinckneyville Fairgrounds.

Also with key hits for the Falcons were Tyler Rulevish (2-5, 3 R, RBI), Adam Banach (3-5, 3 RBI), Brock Bullar (3-5, RBI), Nolan Bruns (2-4, 2 R), Tyler Iubelt (2-4, 2 R, RBI) and Robbie Borchelt (1-4, R).

St. John-Chester, also undefeated in 2010, knocked off Steeleville 5-4 to advance into Monday's championship contest.
