Women's Conference Saturday in Du Quoin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Three dynamic women of faith will be sharing their life experiences with area women who attend the Women's Conference "One Touch" on Saturday, September 11 at Spirit of Life Christian Church in Du Quoin. Ladies 12 and over are invited to attend. The conference will begin with registration from 9:30-10 a.m. and will end around 2:30 p.m. The church is located at 720 North Hickory Street at the north edge of Pinckneyville. The theme of the day "One Touch" is also the title of a song that is currently popular by Nicole C. Mullen. The song and conference are based on the story of the woman with an issue of blood who knew she would be healed if she could only touch the hem of Jesus' garment.

Cynthia Freeland will kick off the morning session with music and a powerful message. Cynthia and her husband Steven founded Tower of Light Ministry Inc. and Word of Truth Bible Training Institute (a licensed and accredited Bible College) in Marion. She is a teacher, pastor, counselor, prophet, healer and deliverer to the body of Christ. She will speak about the lives she has seen miraculously healed and set free from hurts, wounds and depression. Her powerful testimony includes God's healing power in hew own body. Cynthia has a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Doctorate in Religious Education.

Jeannie Killian of Carbondale will also speak in the morning session. Jeannie has shared her faith with women's groups and at community events throughout the tri-state region as well as nationally to audiences in Tucson, Las Vegas, Orlando, Louisville, St. Louis, Dallas and Atlanta. Jeannie is a humorous, content-rich presenter who specializes in keynote addresses, customized workshops and seminars, in-service training and after dinner speaking.

Peggy Camp was ordained in 1987 and entered into evangelism in 1998. She became senior pastor at the Lighthouse in Grand tower, Illinois in 1998 and served as assistant pastor for 11 years. She has been married for 42 years and enjoys three children ad six grandchildren. She is well-traveled. The day will also include drama and solo vocal music. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served by the men of the church. There is no registration fee. Sign language will be provided for the hearing impaired.
