New Calling for Liberty Church's Steve Quinn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Steve Quinn, who took Liberty Church from storefront Christianity to one of the fastest growing congregations in Du Quoin, has found a new calling.

Quinn was pastor of that church for nine years and has been a prominent and forward-thinking resident of Du Quoin for 12 years.

Quinn, 42, will shift his focus to work within the well-respected Kurt Harris Family Christian Foundation and develop a consulting business that will help churches across the country grow technologically.

Quinn's background is in the area of computer software and Web site development. He believes there is a place for a company that devotes its attention to giving churches an online presence. It is destined for certain success.

But, for the time-being we remember the caring he brought to programs like the Blessing of the Backpacks program, work within the Weekend Warriors program, the Ministerial Alliance and the annual "Remember Me" memorial service held each year to remember children that the community has lost.
