Brothers arrested on meth charges

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[On July 24, 2010 the Chester Police Department arrested 31-year-old Joseph Allen Mattingly and 36-year-old Michael Lee Mattingly, both of Chester. Both subjects were arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Participation in Methamphetamine Production and Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors. Michael was also charged with Driving with a Suspended License.

The arrests were the result of a traffic stop. Through the course of this traffic stop the officer located numerous items used in the manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Due to the volatility of the chemical compounds that were present, the Methamphetamine Response Team was called to the scene to process the hazardous materials that are associated with the manufacture of Methamphetamine.
