Chester High School Colbert Gym gets new look
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[For the past two weeks workers have been diligently working to resurface the floor in Chester High School's Colbert Gymnasium. This year the surface was sanded down to the bare wood and repairs were made to the south end where water damage had occurred under the basket area. As can be seen, the floor has a new, lighter appearance and is adorned with a new logo and college-style lanes. Center court has a huge Yellow Jacket mascot busting through the floor. Each baseline is decorated with the word, "Chester" while both sidelines have, "Yellow Jackets" inscribed very noticeably to the right of center court. The new and improved floor adds to the new lights, fresh paint and new seating added during the past several seasons. Discussions are now being held regarding air-conditioning Colbert Gym. Jacket fans can see the new court when the Lady Yellow Jackets take the floor for volleyball next fall. The 2010-2011 Lady Yellow Jackets Basketball Team will break in the new floor in November at the start of the upcoming season.
