2009 Tax Cycle Months Ahead of Last Year

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The board of review for the 2009 (payable 2010) tax year has concluded their work. Supervisor of Assessments John Batteau said that change notices will be mailed on May 24.

He pointed out that change notices were not mailed out until October 10 last year.

Treasurer Bill Taylor said that mobile home tax bills will be taken to the post office on May 28. They will be past due on July 15, as in years past.

The board appointed Jeffrey Robinson, Carol Hamilton and Bobby Kelly to the Board of Review for the 2010 (payable 2011) tax year.
