Warriors split games

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Steeleville&#39;s baseball team earned an impressive 13-1 win in five innings over Dupo last week. The Warriors took control early when they exploded for 11 runs in the first and then added two more in the second. Dupo&#39;s lone run came in the fourth.

Luke Kilgore and Kris Beshears each had two hits and two RBIs while Darin Winkelman added one hit and one RBI. Dustin Risinger was the winning pitcher, holding Dupo to only four hits in five innings.

In their next game Steeleville fell to Red Bud by a score of 5-1. The Warriors could only come up with one run in the third while Red Bud scored once in the first, three times in the third and once in the fourth. Beshears was the leading hitter with two hits while Josh Diercks added an RBI single. Beshears was also the losing pitcher for the Warriors.
