Scholarships available in Randolph County

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Western Egyptian EOC, through funding from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has scholarships available for high school graduates from Randolph County to further his/her educational training at an Illinois two-year area college, vocational school, or four-year college or university with particular consideration given to fields of study in high technology areas or other growth occupations.

Applications are available at the Western Egyptian Outreach Office, 1820 North Market, Sparta, IL, 62286 (phone 443-5231) and at your local high schools where applicants may also direct their questions regarding the scholarship and application procedure. Applications will be accepted until April 30, 2010 at the Sparta Outreach Office.

Announcement of scholarship recipients will be made by May 31, 2010.
