Saturday's girls track: Dejear sweeps the sprints, again
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[With three first place finishes-two from standout sprinter Kiyanna Dejear-Du Quoin High School's girls track and field team finished third Saturday in the Carterville Lady Lions Invitational.
DHS scored 50 points, behind Herrin (91) and Carterville (80).
Johnston City (19) and Goreville (5) also competed.
Dejear took the 100 (12.62) and 200 dashes (26.06) with Mitchell winning the 100 Meter Hurdles in 19.86.
Monday, the Lady Indians run at the Sesser-Valier Lady Red Devils Relays.
