Lane restriction will be encountered along IL 3

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that a lane restriction will be encountered along IL 3 over the Union Pacific Railroad 0.3 miles south of Evansville. Beginning on Monday, April 5, 2010, weather permitting, IL 3 will be reduced to one lane of traffic in order to make repairs and add a new wearing surface to the bridge. Traffic will be maintained with the use of traffic signals. Work should be completed by July 1, 2010. Please use caution when traveling through this work zone. The contractor on this project is Keeley and Sons of East St. Louis. Cindy Travis-Mueller is the Supervising Field Engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation in this area.
