Lady Bulldogs take second

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sparta's track squad finished in second place among five teams competing at Nashville last week. The host squad won with 92 points, Sparta had 72, Christopher earned 39, Pinckneyville had 26 and Okawville scored 11.

First place points were earned by Aleigh Eggemeyer in the 3200 run in 12:58 and the 1600 in 6:10, Jackie Robinson in the 100 dash in 13.4, the 200 in 28.1 and the long jump in 14-7, Melyssa Bradshaw in the 800 in 2:43.1 and Rachel Peck in the pole vault with a mark of 8-0.

Second place finishers were the 3200 and 1600 meter relay teams, Megan Cunningham in the 100 and 400 meter dashes, Kristina Wilson in the 800 and Robinson in the triple jump. Elizabeth Blair threw for a third place finish in the shot put.
