Sunday-in a steady downpour-the Indians lost to Class 4A powerhouse Mundelein 17-2 in a game played at Marion's Rent One Park.

Brandon George (1-0) took the pitching in the opener vs. South Central, surrendering all three runs in the first while giving just six hits.
George and Jake Stanhouse each had two hits in the win with J.C. Davis going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Tyler Shelton smacked a three-run homer.
Trent Bigham worked into the fifth inning of game two before Davis (1-1) relieved to earn the win.
Davis knocked in two more runs with Bigham and Seth Baxter adding two run singles.
Mundelein is a school of 2,300 that plays in the powerful North Suburban Conference.
