The ALRA is an organization that personifies the history of Colonial America from 1750-1815. Members chose a time period and portrayal of a livelihood of the era. Through research pertaining to a our persona we emulate how our fore fathers were clothed, worked and lived. With attention to accuracy we duplicate the clothing, accoutrements, weaponry, and all other aspects of living in the 18th century.
Each year the ALRA holds the National Gathering calling our members to gather together to compete in shooting competition, demonstrate skills and abilities, and share their knowledge. Members will travel from as far as New York, California, Idaho, and Florida. The ALRA has gathered at Fort de Chartres for over 15 years. Thanks to Darrell Duensing and staff this is the most attended event of the organization's yearly events.
Come visit with us and get an insight into the life of Colonial America. Special shooting competition is Saturday at 2 p.m.
