4-H member attends leadership conference
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Randolph County 4-H member Michaela Stewart of Coulterville attended the 2010 Illinois 4-H Jr. Leadership Conference on February 20-21 at Lake Williamson Camp & Conference Center in Carlinville, IL. The weekend leadership event for Illinois 7th and 8th grade 4-H members was planned by the Illinois State 4-H Youth Leadership Team. Viva La Leadership! was the this year's theme. Delegates participated in workshops and activities to learn about teamwork, movie-making, crop science and herbs, different personality traits, showcasing your true self, personal safety, community service, and more. Participants also enjoyed the facility's indoor pool, gyms, and game rooms. Michaela is a member of the Country Crusaders 4-H Club in Sparta.
