Cake Shoot Benefits March 6 Special Olympics Polar Plunge

Free throw shooters of all ages paid a dollar to step up to the free throw line after the Du Quoin vs. Pinckneyville basketball game for a chance to win a cake, pie, cookies or brownies.. Teams are gathering funds through various charitable events for the upcoming March 6 Polar Plunge at Rend Lake's South Sandusky Beach. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. The plunge starts at noon.
