The Lady Panthers, 16-8, are now 4-3 in the SIRR and host Du Quoin Thursday night. Nashville's records improved to 16-5 and 7-0.

"Nashville is a very, very good basketball team but we didn't give a consistent effort," Pinckneyville coach Alan Engelhardt said.

"My biggest disappointment is that we didn't really do a good job of following th scouting report again. We allowed Nashville to do some things that we should have known to take away."

Lindsey Winter and Taylor Cicardi each scored 10 points for the Lady Panthers with Maddy Keith adding eight more.

Nashville was ahead from the start, jumping in front 30-12 by halftime.

Jenny Moeller led the 10th ranked Hornettes with 19 points.
