Girls Prep Basketbal: Lady Falcons Fall in BDC, Start Chester Tourney Tuesday

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A huge first half paved the way for Zeigler-Royalton/Christopher's 57-25 win over Elverado in girls prep basketball Monday night.

With an overall record of 3-12, the Lady Falcons are 1-4 in Black Diamond Conference play and battle host Chester Tuesday at 6 p.m. to open the Lady 'Jackets Invitational Tournament.

Z-R-C led 37-11 by halftime and had six players score at least five points.

Elverado had a game-best 11 points from Chelsea Cochran. The only other Lady Falcon to score at least four points was Rebekah Korando.

Also at the Chester Tournament Tuesday, Energy's Agape Christian battles Marissa-Coulterville at 7:30.
