Junior High Roundup: #204 Defeats Tamaroa/St. Bruno Boys
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Pinckneyville (#204) won a Quad-County Athletic Conference (QCAC) battle over rival Tamaroa/St. Bruno's Monday, 46-17.
The loss dropped T/SB to 1-6 in league play and 4-13 overall.
Dayne Winter topped T/SB with eigh points.
Dahn (21) and Bathon (16) were points leaders for T/SB.
In the seventh grade game, #204 posted a 27-26 win over T/SB despite the 11-point effort of Nolan Luke.
MURPHY DEFEATS PCHS
A tough Murphysboro (Middle School) team dispatched of Pinckneyville (Junior High School) Monday night, 58-37,.
Murphysboro jumped ahead 33-20 by halftime.
Brayden Cowley had 15 points for PJHS with Zach Hester adding six.
Lucas Carter added five points.
Murphysboro also won the seventh grade game.
INDIAN INVITATIONAL
Tamaroa/St. Bruno finished sixth in its own tournament Saturday, falling 47-25 to Nashville (Trinity St. John's).
Luke had 12 points for T/SB, which finished the tourney with a 1-5 record.
Last Thursday, the Indians blasted DeSoto 50-15 as Luke poured in 21 points and Brock Bullar netted 12.
