Junior High Basketball Roundup: Lady Warriors Win at Elverado

The Lady Warriors jumped ahead 14-2 after the first quarter break and were never challenged.

Bailie Caldwell scored 11 points for DMS with Hailey Stewart adding 11. Abby Myers, Katrina Whitley and Morgan Dennis all had six points.

Hart (six) and Kiley Bedar (four) were Elverado's leaders.

Du Quoin (8-3) continued its winning ways at the seventh grade level, posting a 24-17 win.

Jacqueline Harsy (eight) and Marisa Ferguson (six) led the young Lady Warriors.
