IHSA Swimming Sectionals: Lady Indians Send Two to Springfield

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Taylor Stanhouse and Miranda Payne of Du Quoin High School qualified and competed in the IHSA Swimming Sectionals held in Springfield last week.

They are the first DHS students ever to represent Du Quoin High School in sectionals for swimming.

A junior, Stanhouse finished 18th in the 50 -yard Freestyle and 16th in the 100-yard Freestyle. Payne, only a freshman, finished 22nd in the 100-yard Breaststroke and 23rd in the 100-yard Freestyle.

DHS Athletic Director John Campbell accompanied the girls to Springfield.
