Fall Sports: PCHS Honors Golf and Cross Country Athletes
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The 2009 Fall Sports Award Banquet for Pinckneyville Community High School was held Monday night at the Lions Den.
In Cross Country, seniors A.J. Ross and Emily Miller were selected as Most Valuable Runners.
Josh Kuberski-another senior-earned the Guttiest Runner award.
Honored as members of the 2009 Panther Boys Cross Country squad were the following: A.J. Ross, Josh Kuberski, Shay Kellerman, Jacob Loos, Hunter Queen , Dustin Van Meter, Brock Swift, Tyler Harmon, Gabe Herbst, Will Timpner, Coleman Choate, Luke Miller, Joey Burris, Christopher Preibe, Zach Hall, Tyler Wildermuth and Quinton Shopinski.
The Lady Panthers roster included: Paige Brocaille, Emily Miller, Katrina Henson, Sarah Loos, Danni Jenkel, Mo Ramsey, Emily Chapman, Kiera DeFord, Cortney Crawford, Mallory Timpner, Taylor Kuhnert, Danni Schoenbacher and Tyler Flowers.
Ryan Bruns coached the PCHS harriers.
Heather McDaniel and Preston Chapman were picked as Most Valuable Players for the Panther Golf squads.
Kelsey Cicardi and Adam Valentine (Most Improved Players) along with Alexis Anderson and Will Travis (Newcomer's of the Year) were also honored.
Coaches for Pinckneyville were Dennis Kania, Jim Gibson and Vickie Weatherford.

Patrick Kovic (participation); Hayden Kelly (first year varsity letter); and Will Travis (first year varsity letter).
Freshman Girls
Olivia Mathis (first year varsity letter) and Heather McDaniel (first year varsity letter).
Sophomore Boys
Adam Valentine (second year varsity letter).
Sophomore Girls
Bobbie Barnett (participation); Brooke Heisner (first year varsity letter) and Claire Wittenauer (first year varsity letter).
Junior Girls
Kelsey Cicardi (third year varsity letter); Allie Kuhnert (third year varsity letter) and Shelby Hall (first year varsity letter).
