Junior High Basketball: T/SB Keeps on Rolling
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[After finishing a busy week-which culminated with winning the Pinckneyville (#204) Lady Tigers Invitational Saturday-Tamaroa/St. Bruno's girls basketball team quickly returned to regular season play.
The Lady Indians raced to a 19-point halftime lead and cruised past Waltonville (Junior High School) 37-26 at the Tamaroa Community Center Gymnasium.
T/SB is 11-2 overall.
"We played well," Tamaroa/St. Bruno coach Jimmy Harris said. "We do get a starter back (Haley Szczepanski) back next week. She turned an ankle in the Chester game at #204."
Kayla Harris (13 points) and Jordan Koenegstein (10) were the top scorers for T/SB, which led 13-2 as the first quarter ended.
Bailey Nippe scored seven points and put together a brilliant floor game for the Lady Indians. Nippe finished with six rebounds, six assists and four steals.
Dalis Hubler recorded five steals.
T/SB also won the seventh grade game, 25-10.
Kaylee Rulevish's nine points topped the Lady Indians attack.
